Beijing Foton Cumins Engine Co., Ltd Is Going To Be Set Up
Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd is going to set up Beijing Foton Cumins Engine Co., Ltd with Cumins Group in the following second half year. It is said that the joint venture will produce two kinds of diesels that aims the markets of North America and Europe. The diesel will be characterized by high performance and low displacement, which will meet EuroⅣ and standards above. Representative of Foton says Cumins group is the biggest engine manufacturer in the world. The cooperation with Cummins is not only in conformance with the saving energy and low displacement requirements of Chinese Auto industry but also helps Foton to build Foton brand which will make opportunities for Foton to enter markets of Europe and North America.
