No, it's was not a low season for heavy duty truck
Statistics shows that in the first 8 months of this year, there were 366,367 units of heavy duty truck sold in China, which is unexpected. July and August are usually considered to be low seasons of truck industry, however, in this year, sales volume of heavy duty truck is increased by more than 150% both in July and August. It is reported that semi-tractors were sold 121,673 units, up 120.52% y-to-y; heavy duty goods trucks are sold 61,964 units, up 74.6% y-to-y; chassis were sold 306,712 units, up 37.84%.
Experts say that there are three factors that lead to the prosperousness of heavy duty truck industry, and they are: 1.The quick development of China's economy has improved the need of more transportation; 2. the growing of fixed assets investment 3.more and more infrastructures are being constructed.
