93,100 unit heavy duty truck sold in China in 2007

According to China Assosiation of Automobile manufacturers, there were 93,100 unit heavy duty truck( above 14 tons) sold in China, increased by 39% y-o-y. There were two factors leading to the surge of demand. Facing the toll by weight policy and new emission standard in 2008, many transportation companies chosed to buy heavy duty trucks before 2007. According to experts, in 2008, sales volume of heavy duty truck in China will go down slightly.
