Shanndong Provice exported 70,000 vehicles in 2007
According to statistics of Qingdao Customs, China Shanndong Province exported more than 70,000 vehicles in 2007, which is 50% more than that of 2006. Sales value was nearly 0.84 billion U.S. $, 130% increased.
Heavy duty trucks, cars and large & medium buses were main exporting vehicles. SInotruk, SGM and Zhongtong Bus are the main vehicle exporter in Shanndong Province. According to the statistics, sales value of the three vehicle maker was 0.65 billion U.S.$ of which 0.48 billion U.S.$ was from Sinotruk.
Shanndong vehicle makers mainly export their products to Iran, Russia and Poland. It is predicted that, Shanndong province will export 100,000 vehicles in 2008 and sales value will be more than 1.2 Billion U.S.$.
