India plan to shorten heavy truck scrap period
Recently, India's biggest press "Trust"said Indian government is drafting a notification aims to decrease environmental pollution caused by vehicle and to relax the city's heavy traffic. It's learnt that the notification mainly focused on heavy duty trucks.
If the notification is put into force smoothly, in the following two years, 200 thousand heavy trucks which have been used for more than 10 years will be disused in New Delhi.
Executives from ministry of communication of New Delhi said the notification is under drawing up, concrete implemental areas and contents are still to be discussed. However, once the notification is set down, 200 thousand heavy trucks will be impacted in New Delhi. It is learnt that public transport vehicles using CNG engine and meeting the transporting standards will not be influenced.Views:0
