Fuel consumption standard will be announced next year
A few days ago, the General Office of the Transportation Department issued a "vehicle fuel consumption detection and admittance management interim procedure". And this issue is extensively seeking opinions from all sides. The deadline of this vote is November 10th.
In this document, all the transport vehicles (including domestic and imported vehicles) are subject to the fuel consumption testing and access management.The vehicles, which not up to the standard will not allowed entering the road transport market.
Ministry of Communications will in principle release the "access vehicle fuel consumption detection model list "and the list of qualified testing agency in each quarter.The vehicles do not meet the requirements or the fuel consumption standards should not be issued with "road transport permits."
It is reported that the approach is planned for implementation next year.
