Jiefang 498 Oil-saving Match held in Changchun
www.chinatrucks.com : Oil-saving challenge match was held in Changchun, Jilin, with 11 units of FAW GM Jiefang 498 light duty trucks participate.
Changchun is the first leg of the match, where the organizer prepared the most lifelike environment for truck using. In the match, each contestant will drive the Jiefang 498 truck for 50 km. And staff of the match will collect statistics at the end of the match.
After fierce competition, the championship winner, depending on his years of experience, consumed only 6L of oil per 100 km. And, he was awarded with 1000 RMB. What’s also exciting is that all the other contestants achieved good results as well, each consume below 6.58L of oil for 100 km.
After the awarding ceremony, a small performance was arranged.
As reporter learned, the FAW GM Jiefang 498 oil-saving challenge match will also be held in many other cities. And the final national champion will be awarded one units of Jiefang light duty truck.
