2014 Scania China Trucker Contest Ends in Shenzhen
www.chinatrucks.com: 2014 Scania China Trucker Contest ended the first lag in Shenzhen on June 15, and top three truckers were elected, and two drivers from Guangzhou City Star Logistics Transport Company awarded the first two places, scoring 283 and 281, and Deppon Logistics Wang Shuang was awarded the third.
As a carnival for world truck fans, Scania China Trucker Contest has drawn more and more attentions after holding in China for four years, and there were 2000 truckers registering the contest this year, and 250 truckers were chosen to join contest in Shenzhen, Wuhan, Harbin, Wuxi and Xiamen lags.
In the contest in Shenzhen, the contest include unilateral bridge, precise pile positioning stop contest and Z-shaped track to check driver's precise driving ability. Different from precious contest, there is fire extinguishing trains and health lectures to improve drivers' fast and precious reaction ability on emergencies. According to the contest, all the 50 drivers have to finish all the races in closed sites and jury from Scania drivers and trainees will give the score. Finally three winners will compete with all the other twelve winners from four other lags to compete in Xiamen for national winner.
