China Logistic Cost Takes 18% Share of GDP
www.chinatrucks.com: According to “China Procedurement Development Report”, and China social logistics costs in 2013 is more than 10 trillion yuan, taking 18% of GDP which is two times of 8.5% in America. It is showed that logistic cost is more expensive in China.
In 2013, the social logistic cost is 10.2 trillion yuan, up by 9.3% year on year which is lower than 2012. But this statistic is more than developed countries such as America, Japan, Germany, and compared with developing countries is also higher.
In the report, logistic cost takes 10%-15% of the whole cost in developed countries while 15%-25% in the developing countries. But in China, the share is high to 30%-40%.
