Shacman achieved Euro IV certification extension in Russia

www.chinatrucks.com: In 2014 Russian government published a series of laws and regulations to the wheeled vehicles. The regulations newly increased ECE R10 electromagnetic compatibility, ECE R93 front lower part protection and R122 heating system and declared that the Euro V emission standards delayed execution for one year.

The valid of Shacman Euro IV is the end of December 2014. And if Shacman want to obtain the certification extension, they must submit the above 3 ECE certification reports and finish all the driving test in the early November. Otherwise, Shacman made Europe IV certification will expire,  Russian market will be impacted unprecedentedly.

Shacman Automotive Engineering Research Institute carry out preparatory work for the new regulatory requirements, in early October successfully achieved ECE certification and submitted to the certification institution; at the same time the company coordinated Import & export company to proceed extension test plan.

In early November, Russian experts from the certificate institution came to Shacman to test six prototype vehicles. Finally the six trucks all passed the 7 tests, and guarantee the certification extension and set a foundation for Shacman in Russia.
