XCMG Locomotive Sales Volume Ranks Among the Top Ten in China
www.chinatrucks.com: According to the latest statistics released by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), XCMG registered a sales volume of locomotive of 707 units from Jan. to Aug. this year, up by 197% year on year. Thus, it successfully entered the top ten locomotive producers in China. For many years, the top ten locomotive producers in China remained unchanged. With the entry of XCMG, GAC Hino was falling out the top-ten list. Currently, the top ten locomotive producers are Dongfeng, Jiefang, Shaanqi, CNHTC, Foton, Beiben, Valin, Dayun, Hongyan and XCMG.
In the past, XCMG focused on producing and selling concrete mixer and the chassis of other special purposes vehicles. However, thank to its hard work in recent years, it has made impressive breakthroughs in the Four Major Markets, namely locomotives, lorry trailers, dumpers and vehicles for special purposes.
