FOTON AUMAN GTL Super-Power Truck Boosts China Aerospace Industry
www.chinatrucks.com: China launched the Shenzhou XI manned spacecraft on Monday morning to transport two astronauts to the Tiangong II space laboratory. The spacecraft was sent skyward at 7:30 am atop a Long March 2F rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Northwest China.

As is known to all, the manned spacecraft was researched and developed in Beijing Aerospace City. And the first step of the whole project is to transport the spacecraft to the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.
As a typical precise transportation task, the characteristic of the Shenzhou XI manned spacecraft has high requirements of power, safety, reliability and other performance of the transportation vehicle. Auman GTL super-power truck with Foton Cummins ISG super power was responsible for this precise transportation task, which is well deserved the hero behind in the scene.

Foton Auman arrived at China Academy of Space Technology
On power, Auman GTL is equipped with Foton Cummins ISG super power that has an output of 12L and the max torque of 2300N•m. Instantaneous and steady torque ratio of Auman has enhanced 10%-30% than the similar products, and the power is stronger. Large diameter and large torque make the torque increased at least 10% to start fast and speed up fast. Strong power can also reduce the shift frequency, so that the driving performance is more superior, low speed overload capacity is more excellent.

On safety and reliability, Auman GTL introduces Cummins Special iBrake high power engine brake technology of 370hp brake force that is up by 50% than the traditional cylinder brake. The braking force is stronger, the braking distance is shorter, the safety factor is higher, the parking is more stable, and the safety of the Shenzhou spaceship is fully guaranteed.
From Shenzhou VI to XI, Auman heavy truck has always been responsible for the transportation task. It boosts the development of China's aerospace industry and helps realize the “China dream” together.

Foton Auman carried Shenzhou 6 re-entry capsule back
In 2005, Auman finished the mission of the Shenzhou VI re-entry module transportation with zero failure. In 2012, in the guarantee of Shenzhou IX launched, Auman helped the spacecraft launched successfully. In 2013, Auman also took part in the guarantee mission of the Shenzhou X launch.
