34 Units CNHTC Euro VI Heavy-duty Trucks to Enter Hong Kong

Recently, CNHTC successfully won a bid for supplying 34 units street-sweeping heavy-duty trucks to Hong Kong SAR. According to CNHTC, it is the first ever truck purchase ever made by Hong Kong.

On March 5, the sample vehicle which arrived in the city already passed the initial test conducted by Electrical and Mechanical Services Department and Food & Environmental hygiene Department of Hong Kong SAR. All the vehicles are set to embark on their journey to Hong Kong soon.

CNHTC has been ranking the first place for 13 consecutive years among all players in China’s heavy-duty truck manufacturing industry. In the first two months this year, the company exported 6,484 units heavy-duty trucks, up by 76.05% year on year. In the meantime, its export revenue reached 1.674 billion RMB, up by 67.9% year on year and its profits in export stood at 168 million USD, up by 96.79% year on year. (www.chinatrucks.com)
