JW Forland to Completely Make Vehicles in Pakistan
During a visit to Lahore’s industrial zone, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that JW Forland will begin completely manufacturing vehicle here, with each part being made in Pakistan. For the first time a fully vehicle will be produced in Pakistan, before this, the vehicles were only assembled locally.

The factory, built on 2,500 kanals of land, now employs 8,000 people and are expected to create 40,000 jobs indirectly. The tax revenue from the factory is expected to increase from Rs21 billion to Rs30 billion every year after its expansion. With the implementation of new policy, the government will make all-out efforts to lift barriers to investment, which will benefit to both people and local government.
