Biggest Ever Order for Pre-installed Mass Produced Autonomous Trucks Delivered
CHINA -- On August 16, Rokin Logistics, one of the three largest cold chain logistics operators in China, placed an order for 100 autonomous heavy trucks from Plus.ai Company, the largest ever order for pre-installed mass-produced autonomous heavy trucks in China. On the day, the first five J7 autonomous heavy trucks that have been delivered were put into commercial operation, empowering logistics trunk transport.

The J7 autonomous trucks delivered feature safety, fuel efficiency and comfort and is the world's first mass-production level autonomous heavy truck, aiming at trunk logistics and express transportation.
In terms of safety, the sensing devices on the truck uses three layers of detection redundancy and applies technologies such as pre-fusion sensing, obstacle trajectory prediction, and dynamic traffic flow planning to bring users a better driving experience and safety.
J7 Autonomous driving truck is significantly more fuel-efficient than traditional manual driving as its fuel effiency is achieved through intelligent dynamic planning.
With regard to comfort, Super Pilot Autopilot system can free the driver's feet by allowing the vehicle to cruise and change lanes automatically at full speed on the highway.
The J7 Autonomous driving trucks are said to be equipped with the autonomous driving system PlusDrive for L4 level autonomous driving from Plus.ai Company. "The mass-produced J7 Super Truck is equipped with seven cameras and five millimeter wave radars, which are already among the top configurations in autonomous heavy trucks." Said Rong Li, general manager of Plus.ai.
The trial operation data shows that the volume-production level autonomous J7 truck has accumulated 90,000 km in the driving since the trial operation began in October 2021, with autonomous driving accounted for 96.7% of the total trip. During this period, autonomous driving shows 10% more fuel-efficient than manual driving.
