CAMC Delivers 130 Dump Trucks to Southeast Asia
CAMC on May 28 delivered 130 newly developed dump trucks to clients in Southeast Asia, marking a step forward in the company's efforts to expand its presence in overseas markets.
The trucks, designed specifically for the needs of Southeast Asian customers, will be used in infrastructure and construction projects. The company said the vehicles aim to enhance transport efficiency and reduce operating costs for users.
Guo Lei, vice president of Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group, said during the delivery ceremony that Southeast Asia remains a strategic focus for CAMC’s international business. With support from Farizon, CAMC has strengthened its research, development and manufacturing capabilities and plans to roll out additional new energy trucks suited to regional demands.
A customer representative from Southeast Asia, speaking at the event, expressed confidence in the new vehicles, citing CAMC’s established reputation in the market and the potential for improved logistics performance.
The trucks include features such as a lightweight U-shaped body, a butterfly-style tarp cover, and an integrated weighing system for real-time cargo monitoring. The cab is designed for driver comfort, featuring a wide sleeper berth, air-suspension seating, light steering, and a full-floating design to reduce vibrations.
CAMC has reported increasing demand in international markets including Central Asia, South America, and Africa. The company’s export volume from January to April rose 478.4% year-over-year, according to internal data.
One of China’s earliest exporters of heavy-duty trucks, CAMC has shipped products to more than 60 countries and regions. The company said it will continue to strengthen its overseas footprint through product adaptation, service support, and global partnerships.
