CIMC Ligh Tower Accelerates Growth in West Africa
CIMC Lighthouse is accelerating its presence in the Global South, reporting major progress during a recent visit to West Africa. Dr. Shu Lei, CEO of the company’s semi-trailer business group, led a delegation to meet customers, assess local operations, and outline plans for future cooperation. The trip underscored the company’s broader push to build its international footprint.

On-the-Ground Market Insights
During the visit, Dr. Shu and his team inspected local fleet operations to observe how CIMC Light Tower trailers perform in daily use. They gathered first-hand feedback, reviewed operational challenges, and discussed product improvement plans with local partners to strengthen market alignment.

The delegation also met with key customers to understand user experience and future demand. These discussions offered clearer insight into evolving transport needs and regional market trends.

Dr. Shu later attended a customer appreciation event, where he delivered remarks and presented awards to major partners.

600 Trailers Delivered to West African Partners
A major highlight of the trip was the successful delivery of 600 semi-trailers to strategic partners across West Africa. The large-volume handover reflects growing trust in CIMC Light Tower products and marks a meaningful step in the company’s expansion across the region.

Agreement Signed for 1,100 Units in 2026
Looking ahead, CIMC Light Tower signed a strategic agreement with its West African partners for an additional 1,100 trailers to be delivered in 2026. Both sides also discussed the joint establishment of the “CIMC–West Africa LoD Delivery Service Center,” aimed at strengthening local delivery, service, and support capabilities.

Dr. Shu attended the signing ceremony along with senior representatives including Hu Xiaojun, Vice President of the Overseas Marketing & Service Company, and Wang Zhiping, General Manager of the West Africa Marketing & Service Company. The agreement lays the groundwork for CIMC Light Tower’s continued long-term growth in the region.
Strengthening Presence in the Global South
The West Africa visit reinforced the company’s relationships with local partners and signaled CIMC Light Tower’s commitment to expanding in the Global South. The company plans to continue advancing its overseas strategy by delivering reliable products, improving service networks, and working closely with partners to support the region’s transportation needs.
