SHACMAN Delivers Over 100 X3000 Dump Trucks to Vietnam
SHACMAN has officially delivered the first batch of 102 X3000 8x4 dump trucks to a long-standing customer in southern coastal Vietnam. The handover ceremony marked a significant step in supporting the country’s ongoing infrastructure projects.
This customer has a decade-long partnership with SHACMAN. Ten years ago, when it operated as an agricultural service cooperative, it purchased SHACMAN H3000 trucks. Since then, the company has expanded into a diversified enterprise spanning agriculture, infrastructure investment, real estate, and mining. Drawing on their successful past collaboration, the company once again selected SHACMAN trucks for its fleet.
The new X3000 8x4 models feature substantial upgrades over earlier generations. Engine output has increased from 345 to over 400 horsepower, and the powertrain has been fully modernized to improve transmission efficiency and fuel economy. The updated cabin enhances driver comfort, while the truck body incorporates a U-shaped design made from ultra-wear-resistant steel, achieving both lighter weight and extended service life. Over the past ten years, SHACMAN’s continuous product improvements have earned the brand a strong reputation for reliability and load-carrying performance.
Vietnam’s rapidly growing economy and expanding infrastructure sector make timely deployment of these trucks critical. November, falling within the region’s dry season, offers clear skies and high visibility, ideal conditions for construction. The new X3000 trucks will be immediately deployed across a variety of projects, including roads, high-rise buildings, airports, high-speed rail lines, and bridges, playing a key role in the country’s urban modernization efforts.
Looking ahead, SHACMAN plans to continue introducing new models to the Vietnamese market while strengthening its local service and spare parts network, further supporting the nation’s infrastructure development and economic growth.
