FAW TRUCKS Secures 1,000-Truck Order in Indonesia
FAW TRUCKS has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with a leading industrial park operator in Indonesia, securing an order for 1,000 trucks. The agreement was finalized following a recent visit by the Indonesian delegation to FAW TRUCKS, during which both sides discussed plans to deepen cooperation in the local market.
FAW TRUCKS has been active in Indonesia since 2005, steadily expanding its presence by aligning its products with the needs of different commercial vehicle segments. The company said its trucks have gained strong acceptance among industrial park operators and large fleet customers, citing vehicle reliability, driver comfort and high operational uptime as key factors.
According to the company, FAW TRUCKS currently holds a leading position in Indonesia’s truck market. It ranks first among Chinese brands in terms of vehicle ownership in the highway truck segment and also leads the overall market in ownership of high-horsepower tractor trucks.
A representative of FAW TRUCKS International said Indonesia plays a central role in the company’s global strategy and serves as a key hub for its overseas operations. Looking ahead, FAW TRUCKS plans to further strengthen cooperation with international partners, expand its local market presence, and deliver more advanced and intelligent transport solutions tailored to Indonesian customers, supporting the long-term development of the country’s logistics sector.

The Indonesian industrial park partner described FAW TRUCKS as a reliable long-term partner, highlighting its localized service capabilities and consistent product quality. Both parties said the agreement marks the start of deeper cooperation, with closer collaboration expected in future projects.
Looking ahead, FAW TRUCKS said it will continue to advance its “SPRINT 2030” global strategy, focusing on improving international operations, strengthening localized business systems, and building long-term partnerships with key overseas customers. Through these efforts, the company aims to enhance the global competitiveness of its products and further expand its international footprint.
