SANY Delivers Batch of Electric Heavy Trucks to Major Indonesian Energy Company
On May 9, SANY Group and a leading Indonesian energy company held a high-level meeting and vehicle delivery ceremony at the SANY Intelligent Heavy Truck Industrial Park. During the event, SANY officially delivered a batch of SE588 electric heavy trucks and SKT130S wide-body mining trucks.
Liang Linhe, Director of SANY Group and Chairman of SANY Heavy Truck, Jiang Qingbin, Chairman of SANY Heavy Equipment, and Li Qin, Chairman of SANY Direct Sales, attended the event together with representatives from the Indonesian customer.

During the visit, the Indonesian delegation toured SANY’s intelligent manufacturing factory and zero-carbon exhibition area. They also test-drove the SE588 electric heavy truck before the vehicles are shipped to Indonesia.

According to the customer, the first trial vehicles, which began operating in Indonesian mining areas at the end of 2025, have delivered stable performance. The SE588 achieved a gross combined weight (GCW) of 220 tons and successfully handled tropical rainforest weather and complex mining road conditions.

The customer also said the trucks maintained high operational efficiency while reducing operating costs, which strengthened the company’s confidence in transitioning to new energy transportation solutions.
During the following meeting, both sides discussed global energy transition, green mining development, and zero-carbon logistics. They also talked about expanding the use of SANY new energy equipment in Indonesian mining operations in the future.

At the delivery ceremony, both parties completed the symbolic “golden key” handover, marking the official launch of the new cooperation stage. The delivered electric heavy trucks will soon be shipped to Indonesia and put into operation at local mining sites.

Liang Linhe said SANY will continue using its strengths in the full industrial chain and new energy manufacturing to support zero-carbon mining development together with its global partners.
Jiang Qingbin said SANY hopes to deepen cooperation with the customer in the field of new energy mining transportation and continue providing integrated green mining and zero-carbon transport solutions.
Since 2025, both sides have carried out several mutual visits and exchanges. Their cooperation has expanded from an initial trial of two vehicles to this large-scale delivery. The customer is also planning to purchase around 100 heavy trucks in the future, showing the partnership is continuing to grow.

SANY Heavy Truck said it will continue promoting the development of new energy transportation equipment in overseas markets and help global partners accelerate their zero-carbon transition.
