Truck Sales Exceeds Two Million Units in H1 2018

Recent statistics show that China’s sales volume of trucks reached 356,800 units in June this year, up by 1.60% year on year and up by 23.64% compared with that in the previous year.

More specifically, the sales volume of heavy-duty trucks in June registered at 112,100 units, down by 1.33% month on month and up by 14.86% year on year; the sales volume of medium trucks reached 16,100 units in June, down by 19.50% month on month and down by 13.01% year on year; the sales volume of light trucks totaled 169,300 units, up by 3.85% month on month and up by 30.62% year on year; the sales volume of mini-trucks recorded at59,300 units, up by 8.72% month on month and up by 38.41% year on year.

From January to June in 2018, the truck sales in China stood at 2.0646 million units, up by 11.51% year on year. Specifically, the sales volume of heavy-duty trucks, medium trucks, light trucks and mini-trucks reached 671,800 units, 100,900 units, 974,900 units, and 317,000 units, up by 15.11%, -4.67%, 16.15% and -1.75% year on year respectively.
